Octopus Amigurumi


    My current favourite amigurmi pattern is this cute little Octopus by Ambar Crochet. It is a paid pattern $6CAN on Etsy. There are free octopus patterns out there, however this is the first one I found that had the exact look I wanted it to. To me it's definitely worth paying for the pattern depending on how you would like your octopus to look.

    Bella CoCo offers a free octopus pattern on her blog that is somewhat similar to this pattern. I personally prefer the outcome of this one but if you're looking for a free pattern that's a good option. This pattern does suggest using a cotton yarn, I chose to use Bernat premium and Stylecraft Aran (Both acrylic size 4 weight yarns.)

    Not only are these guys snuggly, their tentacles act as a natural comfort for newborns. The tentacles are similar to the umbilical cord so playing with their tentacles offers a simple natural comfort.
